Sky Pointe STEM Scholarship Creator: James Faucette (AP Calculus AB, Geometry Honors, Algebra I) I created the Sky Pointe STEM Scholarship to help students fulfill their desire to pursue a career in a STEM field. While most of my students do not plan on becoming math theorists, they do desire to pursue careers that will challenge them to think critically when it comes to mathematical problem solving. One of my objectives as a teacher has been to fuel and promote that desire. Now, as my students look to access a post-secondary education, I want to help reduce the financial barriers that can sometimes accompany these pursuits.
